Just wondering what everyone thinks of the bar scene? It's been ages since I've hit up a non-strip-club bar. I'm new to pick-up and romance in general (being a 25 year old virgin and all).

Bars are good to practice approaching and working social groups. Strip clubs is mostly hired gun game, which won't make you a well-rounded social artist.

Bars and night game are what I specialize in the most.

The only thing you have to do is break the social norms and step out of your comfort zone. Go to a bar, grab a beer/drink/water (anything you like) and approach. While doing that, remember not to excuse yourself and apologize for talking. Around 95% of the guys there try to approach girls with a "Sorry, what time is it?" or poking her on her shoulder and telling her that they've seen her before and they start asking questions like "Where are you from?". If you're that guy, I have to say that you'll crash and burn in no time.

Be more spontaneous and honest. Go up with a good body posture and approach her face to face. Express yourself honestly, that's the most important thing. If you like her, tell her that. Tell her that you approached her because you were looking at her partying and you thought she'd be a fun person to get to know and that will start forcing her to try to live up to the standards you set.

There's a lot to know, but you have to experience it firsthand and start improving. If you need any help just ask.
