Soaking in as much RSD material as I could from YouTube was where I started, and it seems to have changed my life. So that is my recommendation. RSDtyler has some videos on hard case newbies. Search those. "The game" is really a story more than an instructional book. Not much practical learning to be had.

Thanks for the reply. RSD is real social dynamics (just looked it up), but what does it mean? I actually have a real social dynamics video (by julien manifesto) favorited on my youtube account but never watched the whole thing.
And about The Game: I know how it's written, but don't you think I can still learn something valuable from it? Aren't it lessons hidden in the form of a story? Because I'm pretty good at learning from books, and I think a general guideline from a book would be really nice to hold onto and give me a sense of security.
Any better book to recommend than The Game? Or do you really think videos are the way to go? (I guess it's easier to watch a youtube video than to read an entire book)
I'm sure there is something to be gained from reading The Game for you, but you'll find newer and better perspectives on YouTube. Read it for fun.
Best I can tell, the name Real Social Dynamics is so named because they try to teach sexuality and seduction as it really exists in the world, not how it is taught to us via social conditioning. At the opposite end of the spectrum from the "Mystery Method" you will find in The Game, look at stuff by RSDAlexander on the natural instinct method.
