yes, i actually agree with you, although you are using a hyperbole with the butt squeezing. most women, but not everyone is the same, most women can just look at you, the way you move, read your mind w/e and get an idea how you live and decide if they like it. what you say in the moment and stuff is just that to them, what you said in the moment, how you acted that one time when u were drunk.

Once I took out a girl to dinner and she didnt like my choice of restaurant because it was too cheap (it was a cheap place, I admit). Just like anyone elses understanding: If you don't have the money why bring someone out to a restaurant that's really cheap when you don't have the money? Why not just go on a cheap but enjoyable date like dinner in yours or a walk and cinema?

Dinner is a big deal. When you ask someone out it's socially understood that you go out with the intention of trying to bring them to a nice enough place. There's a difference in your understanding and others. Just because you're a student doesn't mean you can take someone out on a date and have them accept the fact that you're poor as a student. Taking them somewhere cheap is just cheap. Conversely having a cheap home made meal is cheap but it's also nice and acceptable. A cheap meal at Nandos for a first date isn't acceptable.

One thing you need to understand is no woman is going to appreciate someone who is being cheap even if they're really poor. It's a massive negative regardless of your understanding or logic behind it. Dinner isn't just dinner, it's an event; a place that's a big deal. If a woman doesn't appreciate a cheap first date in a cheap ass restaurant you can't hold it to her. There are simple standards that are expected and because you failed to meet that standard doesn't mean a woman should be okay with it.
