Guys, quick question on texting logistics.

So when I get a girls #, I'll Txt them a bit joke around, flirt, then call them, more laughing and flirting then eventually go for the meetup, "I'm gonna be at X you should come too blah blah."


Here's where it gets complicated. Sometimes they can't make the day I suggest so I say, what days work for you? Once they give me a day I say, "I'll check my schedule and get back to you." That way I don't look as if I'm chasing them. Which was my solution to that, good?

(Keep in mind a lot of these girls are from online)
So I'll Txt back in a day or 2 when I get my schedule saying, "Hey looks like I'll have time to hang out on X day how's 5pm sound?" (I texted this to a girl 2 hours ago and am wondering if I messed up and why she wouldn't Txt back when I didn't do anything out if the way)

In other words my next texts for the days after are all logistical and not very funny or flirty. Is that an ok way to open a text convo with a girl or do I have to start over and be funny & flirty.

Side note: I'm suppose to see her tomorrow and she hasn't texted me back yet. I texted her at 2pm it's now 7pm. Last time she answers right away. Since I'm seeing her tomorrow I can't blow up her phone or anything - how do I respond to this situation?
