To be short... I know this girl for a few months now, but I've never really made a move because I either had other girls or I was too drunk&high to care to do something.

We had our ups and downs (we were hanging out quite a lot for some time, then nothing for a while and then again....),but all in all I have a good time with her and she's pretty hot so I wanna "seal the deal" now. She is pretty socially awkward, so she's a hard nut. Barely hangs out with anyone.

We study in the same city for the week, go home for weekend and come back on monday.

I was on one of the biggest parties in our country yesterday (will write a field report about that ) and around 5am I went home to my dorm and when I came there I went to see her (she was the "hallway monitor" that night) to hang out. Unfortunately I was too tired and still a little bit stoned and drunk, so I just sat there and eventually fallen asleep. Before I went to sleep (she went straight home after that) I texted her:



Me: Good ride home. Look out for the vampires and shit (was watching some vampire series when I came)

Her: I'm still waiting :' (waiting for the next student to come replace her)

Me: Are you coming back on sunday?

Her: On monday

Me: No, I'm asking if you are coming on sunday

Me: I'll have something with me probably (asked me just before when are we going to smoke again)

Her: ...I'm coming on monday

Her: What should I do now, omg

Her: I'll leave the keys and just go (Last two lines again about that hallway monitor thing or whatever you americans call it hehe

Me: Ok.. Come on sunday.

Me: Well..?

Her: I don't know, I'll see how it's going to be with the ride back



I didn't respond after the last one...It wasn't the best invitation, I know.

I guess that 9/10 of responsed like that actually mean no, but still - I was thinking about calling her on saturday and ask her about it again (counting on my social skills when we'll be talking). What do you think about that?

She's turning you down without actually saying it.

If a girl doesn't say yes but also doesn't give an explanation as to why she can't, then she's turning you down politely. You've known her for a few months but you've never made a move, you've been friendzoned.

Solid answer... I've thought about it too, but just thinking about it won't change anything. I have some attraction with her, I can see it.. So I just have to make a move. Or?

I would, worst that can happen is she shuts you down & you find out where you stand. You know the situation better than I do, if you feel like she's attracted to you then make a move, text her in a few days and invite her out, keep it simple & chilled "hey, i'm bored lets grab a few drinks" if she says yes, just escalate from there when you're with her

Mistake #1 - You are far too pushy. Double texting chasing an answer is just a big no-no.

Mistake #2 - You are trying to qualify yourself to her and you are subtley putting her on a pedestal. eg. Saying you will have weed in order to impress her / convince her to spend time with you.

It's almost like you're asking her to come chill, but with an incentive. This sounds like Desperate with a capital D. I would just wait for her on Monday and don't push the issue. You main objective is to spend time with her but unfortunately it's not always going to be on your time. You can never play the game of chess effectively being impatient, remember that.
