So I'm in a new town, it's finally summer (or at least, warmer) and I haven't gone out much since last October, because this winter has been absolutely ridiculous, and I had a FWB that I used to keep me warm.

How should I get started again? I'm out of practice - I used to open just about every girl that I found attractive and talk with them. Now I can only do it if I've been drinking quite a bit (which is an issue for me, because if I drink too much, I act like an idiot). Hell, I was at the mall today, and a girl wearing bright red lipstick was giving me fuck me eyes, and I didn't even talk to her.

I hate the idea of going to bars by myself - I'm willing to do it, but it always feels awkward. I went out on Thursday, and I was able to make some friends, but nobody I'd consider a good wingman.

So how should I start getting back into practice?
