I used to think I am a boring conversationalist "I have nothing to say" "what the hell am I supposed to talk about"

today this GUY (yes, guy, not girl) was walking his dog and we talked for like 30 minutes. I felt so comfortable, I joked around, he laughed at my jokes.
It didn't feel uncomfortable because I was not self conscious. I have no idea how my eye contact was, I didn't care. I have no idea if I was talking too fast or too slow, I didn't care. There were a lot of moments where it was silent because I was trying to think how to answer his question, but the silences were not awkward. It felt so natural. I was being honest and didn't act like this guy who is perfect. I revealed a lot of my weaknesses. Afterwards, I am not playing the conversation in my head over and over and trying to find all the wrong things I said.

In a nutshell, if he was a girl, I could have totally totally got her number.

Is that how a skilled pua (let's say Mystery) feels when talking to a girl? everything feels natural and comfortable?

And was the conversation fun because I wasn't nervous, or because girls simply suck at holding a conversation? Like when I talk to a girl, she is quiet as fuck, she won't participate in the conversation, she won't give me anything to work with.
