Face it pall, there is no way you can break up without hurting her. But at least, do it as a man and you tell her in the face. The plain truth. You are not ready to settle down, ok, that is fair enough, so tell her. She will be upset, perhaps cry and then move on. She will not be traumatized for the rest of her life.
