So I was thinking. I have absolutely no game whatsoever. So if I were to try to pickup women right now, I would crash and burn every time. I just can't seem to keep a conversation going. So I could use Openers and lines that other PUAs have used, but it's not really my game. It's theirs. So basically I'm trying to clone myself to them, rather than becoming my own PUA, that can both lead and follow in a conversation to get her going. Isn't that a bad thing?

Practice and experience. Just keep going out and doing something until you feel comfortable.

It's all guidelines dude. The only "cloning" is in canned material(Unnatural game). Natural game is a set of rules to follow, rules you incorporate into your own persona. It's basically a bunch of social rules to follow by with special "Alpha Male Rules" to follow such as your posture, how to be confident and how to look confident then a subset of rules on how to keep that in check and not be too boring. Other than that most of what you'll hear is a lot of cold hard truths on the opposite sex and how you can be around them.

You'll learn this as you go on. Just follow a method and get a bearing for PUA. I suggest The Mystery Method for structure -- cut out all the magic bullshit -- and The Natural for natural game.

If you want to become a natural, there is no short cut, you need to get a lot of experience with women. You can read a bunch of books on becoming a natural, but you won't be without experience.

Well then the question is now, how do you get the most experience in the least amount of time?

Canned Material will get you more experience as a beginner, it will give you things to say that will work. Yes, you will be a "clone" but you can be less of one if you come up with your own openers. Try to do that. Having canned material also makes it easier to approach since you know what you are going to say in advance. The Mystery Method is pretty good for beginners, but also Rules of the Game by Strauss is a good place to start too.

If you want to become a natural, you need to be very comfortable with women. The average "natural" has about 50 lays under his belt by the time he gets out of college. Spend a lot of time with women, and you will no longer be thinking about these skills, you will have internalized them for the most part. My game is now about 70% natural, 30% PUA. It just takes time and experience.

Yes. It is a bad thing. You have two choices (as I see it):

1.) Listen to the retarded advice on these forums and avoid your issues and continue with the lines.
2.) Approach tons of women and figure your shit out.

That's why you don't use routines homie. Learn how to have a conversation.

The best advice I can probably give you is to learn how to LISTEN to people when they talk. Feed off the conversation. Interject your own experiences into what you're talking about. Share life with someone.
