To cut a bloody long story short.. girl I have been on few dates with.. cooled it off with me citing ex boyf in her mind and wanting space.. has been texting with me now for a long time. Asked her to meet 2/3 times... always busy.
Sent her a test message this week. quite simply 'let me know when you are free X'. get a response 2 days later telling me about her weekend and wishing me a great day.

Obvious move is to ignore.. but I almost don't want this hanging over my head.. her thinking I am ignoring her and then coming to me again looking for attention in 2/3 weeks. 90% probability she is using me for attention, but I am thinking to send one last text basically saying 'good to hear about weekend. X, you are obviously not interested in meeting, so let's draw a line here. Wish you the best. X'

Now if she is looking for attention, that will probably shoe her away (good). If I have it wrong and she was genuine but hasn't felt the time is right.. I can have it out with her and insist she meets or fucks off. end of

Thoughts?

meh..

I dont see why you need to tell her your drawing a line under it in order to draw a line under it.

That isnt the kind of personality women go for. Lets face it you dont need to tell her your drawing a line under it to draw a line under it, you just ignore her to do that. What your doing is asking if you have any chance with her whatsoever. She will know this. She will still text you after if she wants.

She probably is using you for attention right now, and guess what.. your giving it to her. So your plan now is to inject drama? isnt that more attention? lol seriously learn to let go and ignore her because she simply isnt adding anything to your life right now and your such a busy guy that you dont have the time to engage in pointless texts.

Just cut contact.

Sending a goodbye message would show that you were affected by the rejection, even if you weren't in the first place. I'd rather treat her the same way she treats me when it comes to situations like this.

dude. you got rejected. It isn't even a gray area, she said: "she wants space". That is a flat out rejection. Not even sure why she responded but it means nothing. Move on.
