I have been asked questions such as "Why would I do that?", "Why?" "What if I don't want to do it?" when I ask girls certain things like coming to my house, and whatnot.

How do you people reply to those? I myself prefer telling them sometimes "You're asking why picking gold instead of silver is good", and it worked couple times.

So ask yourself, what non-sexual reason can you offer for her coming back to your house?

Then you hash that reason onto your offer.

Before you ask her for her phone number actually have her interested in doing something with you, then the reason she is giving you the number is so that you can arrange to do the thing that she has already said she wants to do.

Whatever this date is.. it should be casual, she dosent want to go out and feel locked into being with a guy she dosent know for hours on end, so rather than a meal at a 5 star restaurant, your arranging to meet in town so she can help you choose a new pair of shoes.
