I was just re-reading "The Rules" which outlines the direct counterpart to PUA, seduction for women.

"The Rules" is pretty unpleasant reading for men (bear this in mind when tempted to discuss PUA with women). The basic strategy is too keep the guy waiting for as long as possible and drive him nuts, till he's willing to commit, tell the girl he loves her, move in, get married just to get laid once in a while. Life-affirming, it is not. Cynical, it is. Effective, it is.

At first reading I assumed there wasn't that much there for men. The dynamic is different. The assumption is that women want one thing (love) and have to trade the promise of sex for it. It is all very Medieval. If the girl gives it up too fast she loses her bargaining power.

Guys don't have the same dynamic. They want to get laid fast as quickly as possible.

But, you can spin this around 180 degrees and make it work. Make her trade sex for affection.

There is a powerful psychological principle work here that transcends relationships. Essentially, when you want somebody to give you something, you dangle what they want from you right in front of their face. This applies not only to seduction, but fields as diverse haggling and carny games.

I've been experimenting with a new technique. One of the killer lines you can use in mid-game is the phrase "we have this amazing connection". It is probably the phrase most likely to elicit the doggy-dinner-bowl look in a hot girl. What I've been doing recently is saying "we have this amazing conne---" and then just tailing off. Turn the subject neutral and change your body language. Remain in dominant, confident pose so she doesn't think you just wussed out of completing the sentence.

Now, you can make her work for it. Consider the male equivalent: the sexless goodnight kiss because she's not ready and a long trudge home. Now, I know a lot of you are good PUA's and you'd probably say "fuck it" at that point and go home. But girls aren't female PUA's, they are all female AFC's (well, almost all). As an AFC you'd start brooding and getting hung up on the bitch. Unconsciously you begin to start viewing her in a different light and start giving her what she wants. Now, switch is back around again: do you see how this works?

I've found this technique a very effective way of f-closing and almost totally eliminating LMR.
