So I was with a girl who I was probably just about on borderline friendzone with a couple of years ago - we were pretty close, I fancied her massively but was a massive afc and never made a move, we always joked that we'd get married when we were 30. (Good barometer to show how much I've come on since then though, I cringe when thinking about my behaviour with this girl back then haha, so much that it's funny to me now!)

But anyway, eventually we all but stopped talking. I hadn't spoken to her for around 7 months. Then we met up the other day. At one point she jokingly and while laughing said that all men are dicks.

I said "hmm, I think that's just an excuse you use to keep yourself single so you can marry me at 30!" (we hadn't mentioned the old joke before that)

Her reply was "(Laugh) yeah we might have to still do that!"

So I said, "have to?! Don't sound so begrudging, I'd be a great catch!" with a big grin on my face, not being serious at all.

Her reply was "yeah, you would be."

Then we just pretty much changed the subject. Could I have built more on that? I couldn't really tell if the "yeah you would be" was just a non-commital response or if she was into me. What do you think?
