im asking this question because i've seen many examples showing that being alpha is not important.

i've seen women surrounded by a group of guys. walking away from the group doesn't help you get the woman. instead, some guys would prefer to stay to try their luck. women simply don't care and just pick a random guy who stays. you walking away and flirting with other girls would piss off the woman surrounded by other guys. she would just make out with a random guy to show you she has more power than you.

another example: I have seen guy did nothing besides small talk. that guy is kinda small and average looking ( maybe 6 at most 7 out of ten). he basically did nothing special but chicks would still go for him. the only reason i cud think of is because the guy and the chicks come from neighbouring countries (just an example maybe france and spain).

so all the negs, freeze out, DHV routines seem completely useless. it seems that skill is not necessary when it comes to picking up women. it's more about pre-selection. frame control may not be useful because human beings are actually kinda stubborn. everyone has their own value. it can be due to family, education and background. so you having a strong frame doesn't mean that women is gonna buy it.

From my own experience confidence seems to be the key. Be confident in who you are, in your own opinions, never bow down to other peoples. Agree to disagree with them but don't concede. Stand up tall and walk proud, but also be relaxed like you own the place. I have actually fucked a girl who said the reason she liked me was because she always saw me with a smile on my face. Now I'm not saying walk around with a big cheesy grin on your face, but a cocky smile like you have just got laid already.

Overall I'm finding that the confidence I have has been from taking on Alpha male traits.

There is nothing more important to getting with women than being alpha, end of story. Alpha doesn't just mean being a leader and having balls. It also means high value. If you truly are alpha, you can throw away all the PUA books you've read because you won't need them to get laid.

Thanks for the replies guys. what i am thinking is...confidence and DHV routines are just good starting point of the game. they just get you to talk to more girls. in my opinion, experience is more important as your game progress. there are actually loads of things that haven't been mentioned in the books. even mystery says it himself...competence is more important than confidence. some guys might not be very alpha, but they are smooth with women. they don't mind using AFC tactics when necessary. my problem is not knowing the best thing to do in certain situation...

i've just came up with another conclusion. you don't have to be super alpha. otherwise, you would only scare women away. being dominant is good, being too dominant women would resist. being comfortable with women (like the naturals) would help you score more.

Yes, it is. Period. Its one of the few things that is scientifically proven - indeed its important.

When you start to see patterns, you will notice how big success, the neutral Alpha guys are achieving(both with women, men, friends, jobs etc.). No other man can compete against the Alpha male. They are far superior, in every fucking way(without exception)and it is scientifically proven! The same goes for the Alpha female(if you ever met one, you know what im talking about).

But there are different type of alpha males. Some are weaker and some are stronger. Some switches between beta and alpha, some neutral dudes stays as Alpha, and they are the strongest.

Ive seen it so many times, how these neutral dudes, without knowing anything about PUA, picking girls up like nuts and how they succeed in thier social life. Far better than any other personality, if you ask me. Again, nobody can compete against the true Alpha male - its just not possible(go ahead ask the scientists).
