But to my problem, i got this girls number today in class, (dont know if they way i did it matters but here we go)

We started txting and by the 3rd text she said sorry she has a boyfriend she didnt know what to say when i asked for her number and told her i was hitting on her (haha?)

We continued to text back and forth for the next 3 hours or so. We were talking about a concert and was making jokes about buying her ticket and she said if she brakes up with her boyfriend she will sell me the ticket, does that actually mean anything, i have no idea thats why im here.

So question is, worth txting her or fuck it she has a boyfriend come back later

Cut. I would only text if I was going to a social setting and she has friends to introduce you to.

Not Every girl is going to be instantly attracted to you it is what you do that makes them attracted to you.

From my experience when I used to be in school texting too much within a certain amount of time gets annoying. Space out your texts as much as possible but keep them interesting. Interesting meaning dont try to be the friend, keep it a little sexual but more humor. (Little extra for you) Have her be 1 of many. Your text game will improve with trial and error in numbers. Once you have built quit the phone book mass text something one morning like a funny question or random of the wall type of deal to 1. To break the ice and 2. Shows who are the ones still interested. If you would want to narrow it down even more dont answer back right away.

The main thing is not to come across as desperate or try begging her to dump her boyfriend. If you cut all communication with her, then she'll know you were just looking for a girl who is DTF and that you're probably just a player, since you did hit on her and ask for her number.

Sounds like you have developed some rapport with her, which is good. You can keep in contact with her, maybe even get her to start talking about her relationship with her bf just so you can get a feel for how serious they are. If she's one of those girls who isn't really serious about he bf or is unhappy with him, then you might stand a chance. If she's been a committed relationship with him for 3 years and goes to church every sunday with him and his family, then yea I'd probably just move on.
