Alright guys I've been at the game for a while and can certainly pick up a chick at the club. My best friend who is also into pickup has asked me to accompany him on a double date with this girl who's into him, but unfortunate for him she's really conservative and insisted on bringing her friend along. This is how it went on text.

Chick: Hey want to go out tomorrow?
Friend: I'm a bit busy, did you have something in mind?
Chick: Yeah we could grab something to eat and maybe do something afterwards... the only thing is my friend trish wants to hang out too. Do you have a friend you could bring along so we can double date?
Friend: Ohh so its a double date? That's fancy.
Chick: Yeah I guess im a fancy girl
Chick: Ohh yeah I don't want her to be bored, so its not like a real date for her. Just to let you know.
Friend: So its not a double date.

I didn't see the whole text but that's the gist of it. I agreed before I saw the text, but after I saw it seems like I'm going to be a 4th wheel on this ride(to simply provide support for the other two...). So I was a bit bummed, but after he showed me a pic of the girl she definitely a 9 so I'm a bit curious and conflicted. On one hand I want to support my bro and get at this chick, on the other hand I feel like the text was a major cock block and that getting at the chick might blow him out.

I feel like what I should do is flip the script. Make it seem like I am there just to support my bro and pay little attention to the hot chick. When she jumps into the conversation I'll neg her for it making her chase me a bit. Once there I'll start working my seduction skills. What do you guys think? Is this risky to do to my best friend? Have another idea on how to approach it. Let me know.

Let me understand this correctly: Your friend wants girl #1, you think girl #2 is hot. You are considering not going after girl #2 because it might somehow prevent your friend from getting with girl #1. Instead, you're planning to ignore girl #2 and focus your effort on breaking in to the conversation of your friend and girl #1 to 'support your bro'. Perhaps I didn't understand the situation correctly, but I find you have a strange perspective on things. The way I see it, entertaining girl #2 is your job on the double date, because doing so would help your friend a great deal in getting with girl #1. Moreover, you might actually get girl #2.
