Best way to exploit humor

I made a profile on OkCupid and so far I got surprisingly good responses (only online, didn't reply to any of them). However, I don't want to depend on dating sites, so what would be the best venue to leverage my talent for funny writing that I apparently have?

Comedy writers and comedians in general aren't known for having girls all over them, but that's one thing I have going for me, so it would be nice if I could exploit it somehow (I assume we should play to our strengths).

i havent got much advice here humor is usually good,

one thing though: learn when humor is sexy and when its a dlv. like if you use humor to try to gain someone's acceptance you're not coming off very alpha
