What in your opinion is the best type of date to go on? A meal or cinema seem to be too bog standard, and one of them costs a lot and seems too formal, the other you don't get to speak (though potentially great for kino escalation).

So are either of these two good ideas?

Do something special! Take her to the bowling alley (might be a bit weird for two people...), go playing pool, maybe even take her to a museum, depends on whether she likes that or not. As for outdoor activities, you could take her for a stroll through the city and show her haunted places in the middle of the night... requires some knowledge on the topic though, but it would really excite her in several ways, I guess...

I don't really know your options/possibilities. You could also take her to a bar, order her a drink you can make yourself, try it and tell her that your version of it is much better, she should try it later at your place.
