Hey guys, I'm new here.
I'm reading The Game (just started a few days ago) and I read about the group theory.

Now, I'm wondering a few things about it. Here are my questions, hope you could help:
What to say to introduce myself? saying that there were 2 girls fighting outside (like in the book) and such will probably won't work for me (I'm not around people that give a crap if it was true, and also it became popular enough, didn't it?).

Another thing is, what happens when you're either not accepted or the conversation is dry and boring. What do you do then?
Take these scenarios as examples:

A) I'm approaching a group and just when I start talking they show lack of interest and ditch me or telling to go away / insult me.
B) I'm approaching a group, introducing myself, everybody's responding, then there's silence and I have nothing to do or say..

How do I handle these situations?
