Hi all, I am new to the whole PUA thing. I was wondering if anyone would care to recommend a PUA book ( real book, no online stuff ) and tell me why they recommend it?

I would prefer something that does not have a hucksterish tone, a lot of contrived buzz terms, and does not refer to women in a dimunitive way i.e. "targets". In other words, I am a grown up who is just looking for a little bit of help getting back into the dating game.

Thanks in advance for any opinions. There are an ocean of books out there to sort through. Any help in finding the right one for me would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

the game by neil strauss
the mystery method by mystery
the art of seduction by robert greene

those are some good ones to start with.

I read the reviews on amazon for all 3, no small task.

I might get the first book. The last two were the kind of book I was looking to avoid in my description of the kind of books I would have liked for recommendations.

The second has a reputation for being filled with contrived buzz terms. More than a few reviews mentioned that the third refers to people (women) as "targets". Both sounded like more verbose versions of "The Tao Of Steve" without the charm and some hatred of women thrown in. Sort of like Tom Cruise's character from Magnolia.

Thanks for the titles, I think I will be happy with the first one.

the funny thing is, the first one talks about the mystery and the mystery method and there are also references to robert greenes book in there as well.

dont let the reading scare you away, remember women seduce men with looks, men seduce women with words. there are no cliffs notes to this stuff, well to be honest these are the cliffs notes, lol, plus you might gain a few iq points, its all about how good you wanna get

good luck
