I'm begining to think that it is a complete fluke if I attract a girl even though I might skip certain steps. Do AFC's get this when aspiring to become a PUA? .'/

Basically my biggest sticking point is the A2 phase. (building attraction: Female to male attraction)
I'm decent at opening,
horrible at transitioning (I think, maybe i'm blowing it out of proportion, cause transitioning isn't really a set in stone line that you use, it's something that happenings naturally in conversation),

but when building attraction for her i am ABSOLUTELY horrible, I'm a horrible story teller, like I can't even properly tell jokes. Is there any way I can improve this part of my game? I keep looking in this forum, and mystery method forum, but really, either its all going over my head or I'm not noticing any good ways to improve my value to them. I know you use DHV stories mainly, is there anything else im missing? Maybe I can use a cookie-cutter story to start off with, and build story's later.

It seem's like most people here have problems with AA, and Closing, or are just asking for input on a specific instance. So I feel like I'm missing an easy part of A2 that everybody seemed to just do.

Anyways, are there any other forms of A2 phase that I'm missing, besides DHV stories? It seems like most of the advice in there is "Just keep talking, make sure the conversation never stops, be fun, entertaining and interesting." But this is a lot harder done than said. Seriously, to keep attention on myself for more than 60 seconds is a challenging for me. I can only do that if they are actively asking me questions, which basically means I just skipped the A2 phase (sort of). I have some DHV stories, but none I can really use in context, and most of them probably end up DLV'ing me. Maybe I should just lie a little?
Maybe you guys can help me turn them into DHV's (remember I'm a bad storyteller, so maybe I'm just not thinking of it the right way)


These happened years ago when I used to party a lot so the details are fuzzy.
So heres what happened.
I was driving this my girlfriend and my friends girlfriend back to her house for an unknown reason at this moment. And as we are leaving, my friends girlfriend's ex-husband shows up with his possey and basically ask's for her back, BUT somehow in there he is constantly telling her what a bad mother she is and what a bitch she is. This goes on for about 60 seconds, and then finally I can't take it anymore. This guy is seriously verbally abusing this girl and I seriously can not stand anything more than people who don't respect women I don't think anybody does (verbally abusing, physical abuse, raping, all of it). So I basically tell him to shut the fuck up or I'm going to kick his fucking ass, (i'm really fucking drunk theres 3 of them, and 2 of us, and these guys are bigger, one turns out to be some fucking golden gloves amatuer boxer or some crap) Anyways, I REALLY get into their faces saying they need to leave now or I'm going to beat the shit out of them, and eventually Mr. Golden Gloves gets in my face and I really want to hit this guy but I'm really chicken shit at throwing the first punch and I'm telling this guy to PLEASE punch me in the face so I can beat his ass. And so he does and he decks me, and I go down and they leave. Just to save face in front of you guys, I was so drunk I didn't know I got punched. I thought he pushed me and I fell and then they just left, so I was feeling bad ass until the next day I realised my lip was all busted.
So thats story 1

Story 2 goes like this. Holy crap, I just realized I do have 1 story. Maybe you can help me revise it. I'm going to type it out like I'm saying it to someone in real life.
So I was at XYZ Pub and then all of the sudden that song from Top Gun comes on. You know that song Tom Cruise and Goose sing in the bar to the blonde? "You never close your eyes, anymore when I kiss, your lips"
Ya well, that song comes on the juke box. And I love Top Gun, I have aviators in my car. So I start singing it to my table, and eventually. they start singing it, and not even 30 seconds later, the entire bar is singing that song. It was awesome.

So that is my story, I guess if I'm approaching a set with a guy in it, I can turn to him and be like 'haven't you always wanted to approach a girl like that'. Or just with woman after that I have no other transition or 2nd opener. So after I tell a DHV story, what happens next? I have to transition again? Stack? How exactly do I stack? What do I stack?

I'd post another story to revise, but I can't think of one. See how boring I am?

The first story might be a DHV if you revise it. Leave off the last part of you getting decked.

If you can't come up with more stories, that's fine. Think of some fun games or something that you can do with the girls. Walk them around the venue and play around with them or something like that. It's not all about stories. It's about helping them to have fun . . . WITH YOU.

Read and watch stuff about comedy and storytelling. There are books on how to tell jokes and tell stories and stuff like that. But you can also just watch a lot of comedy movies and tv shows and pick up how they tell jokes and tell stories, then start talking similarly.
