Right - So i was out Saturday, quite drunk. With no intention of really Gaming anyone, i'd had a Crap day in work and wanted to have a good time!

Anyway, im in a bar and my wing SWEET, is talkin to 2 hb 7.5's (Well from what i can remember! Lol) and calls me over to CB his targets friend. So i open with a "Who lies more" and manage to isolate the targets friend - But i cant really b bothered. Im not Gaming, im just chattin and see keeps lookin over to her friend! Now in the Back of my mind, all im thinking is "What the Hell! I have taken time to actually talk to this bird and she should be Happy that i have bothered to interact with her!" So i snap! And Say something like "Is there something more interesting over there? Im really enjoying talking to you but if your not gonna give me 100% Back im gonna go!" SHE WAS HOOKED! HER EYES WERE FIXED ON ME!

When it came to the Kiss Close, she said she had a BF - i thought quick on my feet and asked somethin i had read before, like "Well is that sosially wrong or morally wrong?" Not knowing what to say with either answer! Anyway, i blew it!

Anyone have any good ideas for what to do in this situation???

You can say "Boyfriend? We just met and you are already talking about your problems" Usually they will start laughing, after that change the subject, increase the atraction and try again later.
If you try to number-close and she says "not a good idea because I have a boyfriend" you look at her confused and say "slow down, I couldnt write it, start again 555..."
Or simply just pretend that you didnt hear what she just say.

Over many years, I have discovered that most people's reactions are based on the "worst possible thing". Thus, we can assume that her reaction is going to be negative, and we can use this to both "throw a neg" as well as to be "cocky-funny" by saying:

"Cool, what do you think HE would do when asked for his number by an interesting, funny, and incredibly attractive person. I hope its not what YOU'RE planning to do."

This is an excellent Role-Reversal, and also digs at her own emotional response.

I am also in agreement with the use of a good neg, "We've only known each other for five minutes, I don't think you've earned the right to dump your problems on me, yet".

These two always work for me, but also be willing to play it non-chalant...if it matters too much to you to get the close, it'll show.
