Texts - Is this a good way to initiate a convo?

I use the wink smiley face a lot and I don't think it lowers my value by making me seem lame or anything. The way I see it is if there is a HB 10 you are gaming, don't use smileys to lessen your negs or sarcasm, and if they get offended say something like, "Wow, you're not very good at picking up on sarcasm, are you?". If they are insecure HB 7's or 8's you don't want to over neg so use the smileys. Again, this depends on the girl, because they are all different. I personally love using smileys to keep my C&F especially evident. 8) :wink: 8) :wink: 8) :wink: Hells yeah!

I have one more question regarding texts- What is the best course of action when a HB doesn't respond to your question? If you were to ask, "Hey when are we going to hang out?" or something similar. My first thought is to not text her back until she texts you, but would something like, "Or not" or "I see how it is :)" be effective? Any help would be gladly appreciated! :D

good question, i'd like to know the same. I don't think you are supposed to ask when you two are hanging out though.

try building up the conversation to the point of "what are you doing tonite" blah blah blah and then lead it to you being involved somehow.

or

tell her you are doing something and are going to be somewhere - she is welcome to tag along; or that you need a keen eye for this one. Something like that.

First of all . . . BAD way to initiate. You ASKED. And, you weren't definitive with plans.

Well, since you opened with that above, either of these would fit right in line.

You started off wrong. You should have just invited her to tag alone with something you were already doing.

Well, I didn't actually text this, it was a hypothetical question- but it is good to know that I shouldn't ever say this, lol. My main problem is not having plans for her to tag along with to begin with, but that is an easy thing to fix. Thanks for the help again guys.
