| Locke, i got 2 things to say.
One, is that as far as prepareing material you definatly want to do this. The idea of this material is to start off getting you used to and automating your verbal communication so you can focus on your posture, body language, tone, etc.
After you can get the underlying things right then routines will act as a filler to normal conversations. If a convo trails off or someone breaks your frame, a good routine can pull things back together, by bringing attention back to you and possibly by initiateing another convo.
Two, is that you may not think you have "normal" intresting things to say, but you do. Everything about you is intresting, if told properly. For example...
when asked "Were do you work, or what you do for work"
AFC: "I work at x place" or "I have x job."
PUA: "Im a disposable lighter repair man." (asked again) "Ass model." (asked again) "I work at x place, i do x job"
better PUA: maybe a C & F line or 2, then "Well you know what a few years back i decided i wanted to do x withmyself..." (go into a story about how you worked at whatever places before, or went to school, etc...lea up to were you are currently at.)
The last response will sound more ambitious, you can chose to be truthful or embellish. This will be a much different response then they are used to hearing, and it could give you guys something to connect on (omg i always wanted to goto school for basketweaving too!). It will give you the chance to DHV a bit, just because you can tell a good story if nothing else.
Hope this helps. _________________ -Ka-
