Whats the harm in trying? The worst thing that happens is, well... nothing. Then you move on. Maybe you waste (or learn from) 5 minutes of your life, so be it. I number-closed a Hooters waitress with a boyfriend that talked to me for a good 2 hours after I finished eating. I haven't talked to her since, but she is 22 (I'm 19) and can get me beer when I need it. Really, there is nothing to lose here.

But as said, DON'T tip more than you normally would.

Since you're the customer you've already established DHV. Some girls wont be impressed, especially the more immature ones or the less adventurous ones.

Chicks that work in these places want to get gamed. Take my word for it. They just want somebody who isn't going to make a spectacle, and somebody that's not crude. And remember if nothing else you're building social value that will come in handy in the future if operating around the same social circle, area, etc.. You may even see one of these girls again out clubbin', etc.. and they will say to their girlfriends;

"oh that's that happening guy that used to come in the store".

In that case, go for it. Again, what is there to lose? I work at Abercrombie, so I know how the girls are that work there. Most of the time they are bored out of their mind, especially if they are watching a room. I'd say the workers at Abercrombie (at least around here) are more stuck up than the ones at Hollister. I've worked at Hollister a few times, and they are usually more cool about being friendly.

You need to make it clear from the gitgo, that 'action' is what you're all about. In a socially smart way.

It takes patience, and being somewhat indirect. You don't want anyone but your target to know what's really going on. Or at least not be able to prove it. Until there is really something going on and your fully a part of her social circle.

Simply put a hired gun is a women hired to work someplace based on her looks...

While the typical waitress, bartender, dancer thing fits into that so do girls who work in retail, girls who work in odd services (like car wash). Basically if you see a hot girl working somewere, assume that she got the job because shes hot, then after talking to her you can decide if you were wrong and shes actually intelligent and qualified to be werever she is.

Like some of the other guys pointed out, and its really the complete PUA concept, BE DIFFERENT. Every other guy gets intimidated by her or cat calls her, or worse buys shit from her they didnt want.

Look for the unconsious IOI's and lay in harder with negs and disqualifying her. DHV doesnt take a back burner here but its extra important not to try to show off (as almost every guy she deals with trys this).

Number close or get her out of the venue, once you seperate her from her work her IOI's will hold more weight as they will not be meant to con you into buying something.

The only reason I wanted the job at AnF was to get the discount. Now I have the discount and haven't worked in 5 weeks, so its a win-win situation for me! The pay is min. wage, and the hours are very little a week. So bring that up in convo, ask them if they get many hours and go from there. If they do get a lot of hours, neg them by saying they must kiss the management's ass or something.

You got to be somewhat discreet. Remember she's got a rep and she's getting paid.

Been my experience that management is real keen on guys trying to pick up their paid employees. A lot of these places have had rather bad experiences with younger female employees and customers, other employees and/or managers. Heck sometimes the manager, or other helps banging her too. But if this is the case normally she wont appear on the make in front of them especially. The customer then becomes the outsider. Just someone to be exploited. Like a bar in many ways.

Want to blow the CB'ing power mad assholes out of the water? Draft a letter and send it to their home office explaining something similar to their FU behavior towards a loyal customer. I did this once and it went from passive aggressive presumptuous place, to a place that was kissing my ass in no time flat. Only trouble was, all the hotties suddenly disappeared replaced by an old hen that was apparently on the rag all the time.

Not hard to figure out why, the girls are normally held in contempt, especially by AFC managers who keep wondering whey they aren't getting any. They also don't make the schedule.

Of course the other option is lay 'em out on the floor for interfering with your social opportunities, but I don't recommend this.

And they'll get rid of her in a N.Y. minute if the perception is she's easy or involved with the customers. Just the way it is. Especially true down south. Some companies believe in freedom for their employees, most believe in treating them like some sort of detainee at Guantanamo or something. The younger the employees the more you get the Guantanamo complex. And alot of these chicks are quite young and inexperienced.

And the smaller the place, the worse it is.

Think secret society, and make sure you do your best to keep it a secret.
