Do you kill you chances with a potential girl if you come off awkward but not shy..just awkward and occasional stutter? I felt i fucked it up today with an interaction but I see her quite often. I dont know if I just killed all attraction she had for me or what?

Yes with some girls I still come across as awkward.

Most of the times I opened girls directly with something like:
"Wait, I think you are very attractive".

Sometimes they get a positive vibe from me and I can start talking, but sometimes I come across as awkward or creepy. To increase my chances to have a better first impression I was thinking to try this opener:

Me: "Wait, what do you think of people that say what they think?" (with a smile).
She: "It depends blabla..."

If she says: "Why do you ask?" maybe something like "Because potentially I am the most sincere person you will ever meet".

I think she will agree that sincerity is a good thing to have and then I will become direct:
"Well, I think you are very attractive".

I actually try this once yesterday on a bench and it went well. She was also talking to herself aloud so she also joked: "I thought you were going to say that I am crazy".

I think that starting semi-direct will allow girls to attune to our vibe more easily.

If you meant being awkward more generally (and not only in the first impression) I once started like this:
Me: What's your name?
She: I am [her name]
Me: Cool and what is your name?
Ehm...

I think that experience will cure this. For now, I just embrace awkward moments when they happen.

It's okay to be a little awkward. She's likely feeling the vibe, and at least you're showing enough balls to follow through and ask.

yea but i think i really made myself look stupid by stuttering and mumbling..she has alot of anxiety herself and with out interactions its always been high anxiety back and forth everytime we meet lol. So I dont know its just fucked but she still smiles and talks but Im starting to think its just her being nice.

I dont know if im in good standing to ask her out at this point. lol but i guess ill do it i dont know lol
