Hello everybody! Let’s start this with a confession and a consideration, after that you’ll get your treat
I’m a nerd, I’ve always been and probably, even if it may not seems so on a first appearance, I always will be. A thing that this community and its member taught me is that being a nerd it’s not a problem, and actually it may even become an asset. How?
Usually, “nerd” is a general term usually associated with an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person, especially one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits, or a boring and unattractive social misfit. That was a long time ago, times have changed, and I’ve noticed that nerds/geeks have become socially accepted. Moreover, this culture has created many social circles, and now as a geek you can experience such a wide spectrum of subcultures that it may be very easy to find something, or someone, that you’re actually interested in.
Smoking-hot cosplayers in their early 20s, for example, but I’ll write about it later
Are you a nerd at heart? If yes, how have you approached this community, and why? If not, what are your opinions on this topic?
Now, because I always keep my word, here’s your treat, a double nerd lay report!
