Ok so I might not be describing it right. But my view is this. Pick up requires you to be direct. The trouble is for newbies is that early lessons in pick up make you feel as though you are the prize and that women should be approaching you. Maybe it is just me but i think we need to remember that when we see a beautiful woman we need to attack, attack, attack. It is too easy to stand there looking cool. What we should be doing is opening our mouths. Even if just to say 'hi hello, what's your name? You are hot". Point is i think we need to lead and make an effort. That is what men should do... Not stand there like some pretty fucking flower, too cool to open the hot girl. This is why I like direct teachings the most. I think we need to put ourselves out there. Im going to work on this. What do you guys think?

I think you are wrong. First I have never seen anyone on this site suggest that a man stand there posing like James Bond and wait for the hot Bond girl to walk over. So your post starts with a nonexistent problem. Second telling a girl she's hot isn't a very good start. Show don't tell.
