Okay, so I have been doing this for about two years now and am getting pretty decent at approaching women, but this situation is completely new to me. So I was at a club the other night and went to buy a beer but they had a $10 minimum. I only wanted one beer so I tapped the closest person to me and asked if they wanted a free beer so I could meet the minimum. He accepts and immediately introduces me to what I assume is his girlfriend. He looked like he was in his late 40's, but in really good shape, and she looked like she was maybe in her mid 30's (I only bring this up because I was really drunk and didn't get their relationship status....oops). So we get to talking and she is kind of touchy feely. Shorty after talking she asks to take a picture with me to show her friend what a "real Jesus looks like." (I have long hair and a beard so I always get told I look just like Jesus). So I put my arm around her and the guy she is with takes our pic with her phone. So I ask her to send me the photo as this seems like a quick way to get her number just in case they aren't dating. The rest of the night we all talk and she keeps touching me, and interlocking arms during songs she likes and the guy doesn't seem to be bothered. I have no clue if they are just friends or are in an open relationship, but it seems like the latter, as whenever they talked they said things like "we do this, we do that, etc." At the end of the night, she starts talking about this beach they always go to during the summer, and tells me I should come (this beach is really known for people going there to hook up), and that I have her number if I ever go. So it really seems like they are swingers, or in some sort of open relationship, and I am curious as to how I should proceed. Should I text her? If so, what should I say? She was pretty good looking and the whole open thing wouldn't really bother me. Or should I just drop it and move on to the next one? This is a new situation that is kind of intriguing so just wondering if anyone has ever been in this situation, or has any suggestions as to how to process (specifically with what I should text her).

Do you know for sure they are not in a committed relationship? If alcohol was involved they might have been goofing off and they might tell you to piss off if you text them a few days later. They might totally ignore or might not even remember you. Be prepared and don't take it personally.

On the other hand one text is not going to hurt and it's the only way you'll find out. She's not gonna text you first. If she remembers you'll be able to gauge her interest level pretty quick within the first 4 or 5 texts. Something real simple, "hey it's _____ from the club. You sent me those pics. Let's do something soon." Don't get too cute.

You could probably be better suited for a girl who doesn't have an unspecified other guy "hanging around", but if you are up to the challenge I say send out a feeler text but tread carefully. If you get to chatting and the topic of hanging out comes up, pitch the idea of her coming without him. Get her alone. He could be a weirdo that you want to keep your distance from.
