A bit of the rails at this point. Bottom line, the most attractive women are drawn to money, power, and or fame and what these factors entail. It's natural selection. Sure there are exceptions, like really good looks or are guy that has potential. Also a chick can be real horny, drunk, etc. The guy that focuses on his career is usually more directly or indirectly obtaining one or more of the factors above.

A lot of the "PUA tactics" are used to convince women that you in some way possess one or more of the factors above, or at least potential. Others employ a mass use of numbers games. The most ridiculous ones keep girls flustered and by-pass more innate signals that would otherwise cue her into the fact that you are a less than suitable mate. A lot of the reason "PUA" cannot keep women long term is because it is hard to project characteristics that you do not posses on a long term and consistent basis.
