How to get in mood before a date

Long story short I got a date in 5 hours but my mood has been shitty from two days after a big fight with a friend.

I've been happy and playful and funny for an entire month, but now I don't even feel Like talking.

I would've canceled the date, but this HB9 is in town only till tomorrow.

Any tips?

Find a way to relieve stress. I personally like to run for 30 minutes. Or I play Piano. Those are my outlets

Might be too late, but I like to call up a friend or chat up a random person/cashier. Gets the blood flowing.

Also,I would enjoy learning the piano. Getting finances up a bit to get the best lessons. I can't tell how many times I pass up pianos on dates and feel bad because I can't play it lol.

Lol, don't feel bad. The piano is harder than it looks. You're reading notes for both the left hand and the right hand and you have synchronize play and tempo. Good that you are getting lessons.

Always wanted to learn to play the piano... music on the piano sounds so lovely, even dubstep like Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites sounds wonderful on the piano (on youtube), and pretty much anything that musicalbasics dude plays (also on youtube).

OP, from my experience, the biggest thing you can do in your situation is to ACCEPT what is happening. Jump up / down a few times to get your body moving, and tell yourself, "I ACCEPT getting in that fight with my friend, I ACCEPT IT" and when you consciously tell yourself that, for me anyway a lot of the anxiety and negative feelings dissipate shortly thereafter. Many of the times, we as human beings tend to hold onto things when we can't accept the outcome. Just let it go, let it be, accept the outcome for what it is, and then get your mind filled with uplifting music and activities.

In the end the stress abandoned me the moment I met her and we had a great date.

Personally speaking on the phone with somebody helps to get into talkative mood.

I also try to smile and speak to strangers.
