i went to this club event a few weeks ago, needless to say I didn't do anything. Now i'm going to a different one, now I got to know how do I show DHV what kind of IOIs I should be lookin for and how to capitalize on them

I take it to mean, how do you get social proof? A DHV is something you'll do while in-set.

First, talk to everyone you see, even if it's just "hi." It would be good to get to know the bartender, DJ's, etc. Act alpha male the whole time you're there- remember, you own the place. Warm up by opening one or two sets of average-looking girls, just to get things flowing. Then, go for whoever strikes you as a target.

As far as IOI's, eye contact probably the biggest one. If you see an HB looking at you, smile, wink, and go open the set. If an HB opens you, it's big IOI- take advantage of it.

Act as the leader of your group.... keep a smile on your face....

It would be great if you have some social proof....

The girl should know your name ( I ask my friends to repeat my name at the right time)... and at the end of the night / before you approach them .... they need to be knowing that YOU ARE THE GUY IN DEMAND.
