Should I lose weight first?

Agreed.

However, looks like OP is only interested in losing weight as opposed to gaining muscle, so honestly he doesn't even need a well-regimented exercise routine. All he has to do is start eating less and generally moving around more (the former being far more important), so this might require less of this discipline you're talking about.

Plenty of room to do both at the same time.

Do both and take notes by comparing yourself "before" and "after". I too had a big belly once from drinking too much beer and I still remember til this day. No girl(s) wanted to hug me, never and when I initiated the first hug they would always gringe as if I was that fat guy that wants to hug the pretty girls only. Then when I trimmed down and lost abt 15-20 lbs the same girls didnt have a problem hugging me, as a matter of fact. All of a sudden I was hot, sexy and hug able. Do what I would do on purpose. When you slim down your waist. Approach the same girls first make sure you place your arms between their neck and shoulders and let them wrap their arms around your waist. And notice the big difference now. For me I noticed before they were disgusted to hug me and the hug only lasted not even 2 seconds but then afterwards when I lost my belly fat they would hug me and cling on me for at least 1-2 minutes. Life is harsh and if you want to see greater results you have to change. Comfort and Laziness will get you no where buddy.

If you're losing weight primarily for women, you need to first change your mindset.

I would highly recommend sarging and working out at the same time. At least you'll still gain experiences from sarging through trial and error (though that, too, applies to working out and dieting). Having a body is one thing, but it doesn't get you as far as you expect. However, that's just coming from somebody who's been working out for over eight years.
