Was briefly chatting this girl at the end of a party when I had to leave before I got her number. An unusual amount of drink wasn't helping me think properly either.

Anyway, my wingman decided to rush off (also slightly under the influence) to get her contact details for me, without me knowing. Bless 'im. This happened:

Wing: Hey my friend likes you, he doesn't know I'm here, can he have your number?
HB: Haha I have a boyfriend. But my name is X, just in case. [Didn't exchange names in the beginning.]
Her Friends: Ooooooh!
HB: No no but I really do have a boyfriend.

Boyfriend aside, his line basically destroyed any chance of me approaching this girl without being at a disadvantage. It's almost childish or stalkerish if I contact her now; but I do have her Facebook thanks to him at least.

What would a PUA do, or say, in a situation where not only did the PUA not get the contact info himself, but the girl already knows that he likes her?
