I went out for lunch with my family Sunday and a really cute waitress served us.

I'm in that town tomorrow so I'm planning to stop in for a coffee and talk to her and if conversation flows okay I'll ask her out for a coffee.

I'm only worried that I'll be rejected and I'll therefore feel depressed, however I feel that by not even trying I'm letting fear win.

Any advice from you guys?

Will let you know how it goes

sorry but you are already too invested and therefore will fail.
in the future dont invest so much in any girl.
now try another girl that you are not invested in.

You should have done it that night, however.

Potential problem here is she's a hired gun. It's her job to be nice to you.

Don't be surprised to hear she has a boyfriend --- though I encourage you to try.

Start at least one conversation with a cute girl you see BEFORE you get to the cafe. If you do this, your mood when meeting the cafe girl will probably be enhanced greatly.

Why the hell would you feel depressed over a girl rejecting you? Is the approval of a woman that important to you?

Go do your thing. Most of us have been rejected more times than most of you have even tried. Stop being a little bitch about it.

Have you ever felt depressed even when it wasn't after approaching a woman? I'm sure you have. So whats the big deal? You'll feel more depressed if you never try and wallow into "what could of been".

Ask the girl out man.. But don't ask the waitress out for coffee. She probably serves coffee all day long.

Just get her number, get in, get out, and set up the date later in this case.
