Okay so i have read through, "TheAce's" thread a few times. I have gotten a lot of great information! That was however from 7 years ago :P . I know a lot of it is still relivent but i also want some new advice! Mabye somethings that you guys were really glad you did in college or wish'd that you did? Pretty much anything! :)

Oh yea my collage has 70k+ people.
Also was wondering if i should just sit in a populated area one day and try to meet as many people as possible?

Join a bunch of clubs in the beginning. Hold off on a frat until you know the dynamics of which ones have the best reputations. I joined the wrong frat and it negatively impacted my social status when in school.

Befriending frats is better for your overall game if you can get girls to go with you to the frat parties.

Befriending girls is the best tool you'll have to infiltrating social circles.

Only do the social freedom exercise you are talking about if you have major anxiety about meeting people. Clubs will help you become more social in a socially acceptable way.

Meet your classmates! The first month of college is critical, everyone is new, no one has set cliques, and everyone is in the mood to meet someone new. Freshman year is all about the meeting new people. Ah, I remember the good old days, I did meet all of my classmates in all of my classes and this helped me get to find out where the parties were, who was who, who I wanted in my group etc. The first week of college I went into overdrive, the first day of classes I would catch up to a cutie that caught my eye and introduce myself and get my foot in the door.

Get on it man!

Cdharders is right about joining clubs, do that! Also, one thing that will help you gain a great college experience is to learn to say yes to the invites you will be getting. I constantly got invited out every weekend and it was great! Pays to have a great social circle in college, just remember to lay off the drugs...academics are still important and it is easy to blow off your education.
