is allways a pawn productive? could be that using a pawn (6) could be negative for u when u try to use it with a HB 9-10?
i know, that basicly, having pawns and using them is a basic tool in this art... but sometimes, specially the nights i feel myself really strong or everything just worked in the last days... I USE TO DISCARD to open any set lower than a 7-8 ... coz i think: after, when im meeting the 10 from tonight...tht will make my value lower...
what do u think?

Sacrificing a simple pawn is one thing, but how can you get the best with that? I think you may want to pick up a knight or a bishop for sacrifice. Maybe even a rook. It's tough to bait out a queen with just a pawn.
