I'm freaking confused right now.
Here's the deal:
I can open a set with flair. I can dialog no prob. But it seems like as soon as I toss out a neg or start teasing I lose interest immediately.
Let me get you a little background first of all.
A. I'd consider myself physically a 7, and when I pimp myself out I'm 8+ material. So that's a good thing. But, I'd consider myself VERY INTENSE. I.E. When I look at a girl I think she instantly thinks, "What's this guy thinking is wrong with me?"
I get laughs like no one, I've got very interesting routines, but that freaking neg kills me.
In fact, historically, I've gotten success a lot more with negging myself. Routines like, "Yeah, let me tell you why I suck". That's the shit that gets me all the action.
A little more background: I don't live right next to all the hottest action so basically I cruise around until I find a place with an HB8 then I start running my game. Am I aiming too low? Do I need to run an entirely different game for the places I'm in? Is there some other way I can run my game apart from the MM?
Or do I just need to start shooting for the 9-10 chicks? If that's the case, I've got some inner game work to do.

If she's an 8 that thinks she's a 10, then negs are needed to knock her off that high horse. It sounds like you've been negging 8s that think they're 6's and blowing yourself out. The only way to know who your dealing with is to keep a close eye on their body language, and calibrate early.

I think, after some thought, that's what I came up with. I think I'm holding a little too tight to the "script" and I need to be a little tighter with the calibration.
