I got a girls number, when I first got it we didnt talk to much until I mentioned im going fishing one weekend. Had her hooked, she was saying we should go fishing one day and maybe a Baseball game all i said was' yea sounds good'. Ok a week ago she mentioned i should come down to see her and spend a night on the town with her, i asked 'ok when you available' her reply was 'next Saturday'... now Saturday is coming up i ask her if we are still on for Saturday. she said 'if she can find someone to watch her kid' she lives with her mom now[ ex dont pay child support said cant afford a place now, kid is 2], is that the escape route? not finding someone to watch her kid. if she has seconds thoughts but she lives with her mom? maybe just giving me a run around?

For the Experience guys what would ya'll do? i replied yesterday to her text and nothing so far so interest changed, probably send her a interesting text later 'what kind of trouble have you been into? someone broke into the zoo and stole a tiger, didn't let me in on the plan?'. Thoughts?

Just chill. I wouldn't read too much into it, if she has a kid she needs someome to watch it.. Find a backup plan for Saturday, so if she flakes you'll still have something to do. That way, you won't put too much thought into this. If she hasn't replied by Friday for example, just shoot her a text along the lines of 'Hey! How's finding a babysitter going?' If she doesn't reply, go out have and have a good time. If she gets back to you at some point, take it from there. If not, I would say she's not worth pursuing.

Keep in mind though, not finding someone to watch her kid is a legit excuse (atleast in my book). If she keeps on flaking in the future however, I would just next her.

I texted her last night actually. she even said she wont have a sitter for Saturday... kinda early to be saying that. She told me she would find out soon though. I going to a baseball game Sunday and post a bunch of games on my fb. She loves baseball and that would bring some interest back. We're not texting as much, she usually would text me like she had interest, recently not so much. Already put her on the back burner. Im going to wait until she text me. When you think i should ask her put again?

If you ever have to question if you invested too much, you probably did.
