So at this point, you and the girl have established a level of attraction. She knows you think she is attractive and vice versa.

What is a good approach to setting up another outing without coming off as needy, yet still being persistent and forward? (especially for Day 2, though it can apply for outings after Day 2)

My current approach it to establish attraction when I first meet the girl, and then continue flirting afterwards through text. More often than not the girl will meet up, though some play hard to get.

My rules:
-If I am the last person to text, then I usually wait a day before texting again (not texting twice in a row)
-Always be closing, usually a few flirty texts and then extend an invitation to meet up
-If she declines the first invitation, I ask her out a week later to a different event. If she declines the second time, then I usually freeze her out for a bit, and extend one more invitation. (If she declines 3 times I delete the number)

Any tips would be helpful, most of the girls I text are receptive and will flirt back a lot of the time, but are either hesitant to meet up, or come up with an excuse. I am not a big fan of establishing comfort over the phone, but I am open to the suggestion if it works.
