I heard this recently "Make a married woman laugh, and you're half way there. But make a single bird laugh.. and that's all you'll get!" I'm sure if I fully understand the meaning behind this but it reminded me of a time when I was talking to a hot bird and made the mistake of expressing to her why a particular issue annoyed me. I let my guard down and showed that I cared too much about this. She found it amusing and laughed a little too much. Although I didn't realise it at the time, I somehow knew I wasn't going to get into her pants.
