Well I was at this house party and the male to female ratio was unbalanced. I was attempting to develop something with this girl that was about a seven. Simple situation except for the fact that EVERY and I mean EVERY other guy there was in my way. Each time id try to get alone time with her they'd follow and interrupt. There was no game or smoothness involved they where just in the way. I decided to try to get them all drunk but this only made things worse. They became more obnoxious and more in the way. I kept on requesting her to follow me to have a cigarette or follow me to the couch and she would follow but with her came the fiends and thus thwarted my intentions. If anyone's had experience with this situation and came out successful please enlighten me because even in hindsight I'm at a loss for a solution. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks

Stay the course, dude. Don't let it bother you. It's pretty typical for parties, clubs, etc. to have an unbalanced ratio of men to women, but the difference is most of the guys are AFC. It's up to you to keep an Alpha state of mind because if you let it bother you, you're just the same as them: frustrated. And you gotta handle it with ease, because if it seems like you're trying hard to isolate her, you'll be seen as needy.

Also, why not try to bring value to everybody there? Including the guys? You can always plant a seed by whispering something sexual into the girls ear. You can have fun with everybody at the party but leave with the girl.

I'd always go with the " Lets go for a walk" at a house party when I choose the girl I want.

Part of getting good at Game is having the ability to make milk come from a rock. You have the see the opportunities even when the rest of the men don't.

Be unconventional, separate yourself from the pack.

Good advice from all posters above. Remember that those AFCs are just that, AFCs. Since you are the player, they're not much more than speedbumps. Don't get discouraged and let them become roadblocks. You have game, and therefore you can escalate and get the girl even with them around. Just focus on her and on being confident and in charge (like an "alpha male").

I'm thinking something along the lines of isolate and seduce. tell her to grab some ice cream with you, driving back stop by a bar, after a drink ask her what movies she has at her place, or say you're hungry and let's cook something (at hers).

yea i was focusing on being the life of the party which i had accomplished but everyone was attracted to her like flies to a light and then the "bide your time" thought kind of went out the window and i ended up being just one of the pack trying to get her attention. my concern is what tactics should i employ to get the hounds away for a minute so i can chat her up a bit and then pull her away.

That could be part of your problem. Someone else more experienced than me might be able to clarify or confirm, but I don't believe you should be the entertainer, but rather, the entertained. Not saying to be a total lame, but don't be the court jester.

haha no. and i see what you mean about not being the clown but what exactly do you mean by be the entertained?

Let the others make fools of themselves while you decide what's cool or not. Some dude is cracking jokes attempting to get the chick's attention, you chuckle a bit (or not), raise your glass and say "That's awesome." or "That's funny (while you have no more than a smirk on your face)." then get back to what you were doing.
