The book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is primarily aimed for married couples or people already in a serious relationship, I'm interested to see if anyone here thinks it has any value in PUA.

I havnt read it all, only parts here and there. It looks at how men and women communicate differently.

For example if a woman says 'we never go out' what she actually means is 'I want to go out tonight' but because she wants to let the man be the man and take the lead she will suggest this indirectly.

The man will however take this at face value and say something like 'what are you talking about we went out last Friday'.

Both are then annoyed, her because re bf/husband won't take her out and him because he thinks she's impossible to please.

Any use in looking at this area of essentially marriage counseling now before any relationships ? Opinions?

As a married man, I was able to get some value from the book, however it would not be the first relationship book I would focus on.

If you're looking to meet and attract women, I think there are much better resources than Men are from Mars, Women Are From Venus. This board is one of them.

Any book coming from a fellow that has extensive knowledge on the opposite sex is going to have a lot of value when it comes to dealing with women.

A great book that'll let you into the female mind is " My Secret Garden" by Nacy Friday. She goes deep in that.

I've actually read my secret garden and the less infamous but just as good sequel to it.

Real eye opener, I went from the understanding that women wanted to be held and cherished, haha like fuck they do, they're kinky as hell. Very educational.

Now I go by Jeremy Kyles advice of 'treat her like a princess, fuck her like a pornstar'.

Women do often communicate that way.

I'd say moreso than not.

You understanding what they're actually saying is part of what "having game" is in the first place.
