Quote:
Healing from Pain produces presence.
The people with the largest presence have probably gone through the most pain early on in their life. What you are going to have to do is take a bit more social risk. If you fail; that pain will build you up a presence for the future. This isn't something that is just going to happen over night. You have to work at it. Take social risk man; it'll hurt you today, but build you tomorrow.
That. In high school I was the poster image of a nerd, always getting bullied around, AFC, all that. Then I got into college, studied by night and worked in my local law enforcement agency by day. Made friends with the brass there, started to hang out with them (our staff sergent was the closest thing to a PUA mentor I ever had), started to go to the gym, learned how to fight, invested in a new wardrobe, got a laser eye surgery, couple all that to learning psychological techniques (How to Win Friends and Influence People is a must, like a previous poster said) and a huge confidence boost and now, only 7 years after high school, I'm the kind of guy that comands attention wenever I walk into a room. When I sit with my mom and watch a photo album from back then I can hardly belive I was that guy.
Your biggest step is the will to change, from the moment you set your mind to it, you have plenty of threads, articles, books and videos to help you.
If all else fails, pick the meanest "gangsta" in your school, walk up to him in the cafeteria, where everyone can see you, slap his face with a tray, kick him a few times when he falls and yell "My name is Dr. Spargenator. Remember that, motherfucker. You fuck with me, you're dead!" That ought to get you noticed
