Weak number close at work. Should I follow up?

Hey guys,

Relatively new to the game and I just number closed a HB8 at my work, it should be noted that it was a pretty poor pickup but I got the number anyway. I'm a bit unsure what to do next, she may have just given me the number out of politeness and I don't want to embarrass myself if she flakes on me and then I see her in work again, also I feel that if I don't call her it could be awkward when she comes into my work anyway.
Any advice?

i recommend not using it and re-engage her some other time and then use it. You have put her in an awkward situation given she is a colleague, let that simmer down, then re-engage.

well you should pull through the hole thing. wait some time, i would say 3 weeks and then call her for a date
