A while ago I was talking to a HB6 and I said "maybe I'm just talking nonsense" (I wouldn't say this now as it is AFC behaviour) and she replied "no, you're really not" (sincerely) could this be an IOI, if she agrees with what your saying or defends you in some way?

In general, agreeing or disagreeing won't indicate anything. "Is the sky blue?" Yes or no, its just her opinion.

What's interesting about your question is that you told her you weren't making any sense. You neg'd yourself, not good. If you are ever feeling that you aren't making any sense, just excuse yourself. If she comes to find you, or if you walk past and she says something then that is the IOI.

he hit the nail on the head, agreeing is something that a lot of people i know mistake as an IOI, unless your talking utter nonsense * all people over 50 should be euthanised* its not an IOI

This is a great question I was curious about too. I think the difference is if its an opinion and she agrees opposed to a fact. If she agrees with an opinion of yours then that can be a possible IOI. If she agrees with a fact it's probably just to keep the convo going.

Yah she Liked you but by you saying what you said you showed

A. You dont believe in what you are talking about
B. You care what she thinks about you

Simple. Do a compliance test.

What you did was accidently neg and invalidating yourself. She validated you. This was an IOI.

Essentially what you said was "Im not worth listening too, dont waste your time with me." and she said "Yes you are, im not going anywhere keep talking i want you to give me reasons to stay."

This is about the same as you turning to walk away and her grabbing your arm or asking you a question to keep you there.

Had she been more attractive and had a stronger shield you woulda been blown out of the set most likely.

Thanks for the replies and clearing that up. I think *otto* could be right in that she was being friendly more than giving an IOI. I also think if it is an IOI it is a mild one. As to why I said it in the first place; I had a bit to drink and I've improved my game since, so now I wouldn't put myself down. I think I may even have been looking for validation from her, to support what I said. Now I wouldn't do that.
