Ok here is the deal. I CAN NOT approach ugly girls, I just don't feel accomplished by opening a set that I know is most likely just glad someone is talking to them. I have been opening sets pretty regularly, 1 or 2 a day, and I was wondering if only opening sets of attractive girls will hurt my game. The way I look at it is that I am missing out on some practice BUT I think the practice I am getting is much better. The reason I think its better to open sets with attractive girls is because it is so much more nerve racking and it has been helping me get over AA by forcing me out of my comfort zone. Any advice guys?

Correct. Ugly sets are warm ups. Sets with HBs are the goal. You're doing a good job jumping straight in, as long as it doesn't hurt your inner game to get blown out.
