I've been getting this one when trying to pickup older women... "So how old are you?" I usually answer jokingly with a smile... "Ah, age is but a number..." and quickly switch the topic to something else. Is this a good response? or shall I be trying something else.... it depends on the girl, but half the time I successfully switch topics and she forgets about the age because either she's interested or is getting interested, the other half of the time, they ask again... "Ya you're right it is a number.. so how old are YOU?" ........... and I get stuck here most of the time, because then I feel like I am forced to tell her..... is this a shit test?

Hey thanks thats a good one, (and a mini-neg!), if it doesnt work, then I could always follow up with age being a number.

I'd go the other way around. You know that half the time telling them that "age is just a number" causes them to comply and the other half they keep asking, so use that one first and if it doesn't work, pull out the neg. You can even throw in a "Hey, I let it slide the first time, but that's a pretty rude question to ask."
