Yeah, okay, I am very arrogant and egotistical, I love myself, I see myself as a god and have often introduced myself to people as such. I am a perfectionist, because doing something less than perfect is beneath me. As you can see, I am not lying.

I don't want to lose the confidence I have, but obviously getting rid of the arrogance and deflating my overly-inflated ego somewhat is a must. Any ideas for how I could lose my arrogance?

Like many, I became arrogant as a form of self-defence; I used to have a low self-esteem and confidence, while my confidence and self-esteem have increased (though not as much as I should like) the arrogance has remained, and it is now annoying even me.

Any advice would be appreciated, and remember; helping me is, literally, helping God himself.

Anyway, since you mentioned your belief in your own supremacy is caused and developed as your defence mechanism and as such I am pretty sure it is very fragile. You say you need help in overiding this but I can tell you you don`t have to worry about staying in that mode for a long period. Something or somebody (some HB, some alpha guy) will eventually smash you so hard that you will be in danger in becoming even more shy and insecure then you were before highly inflated egotrip took you over.

Instead, just try to be cool, positive guy who cares about people surrounding him. It˙s OK and positive to have good oppinion about yourself but not in a selfcentric idiot way.
