dont tap her, grab her, and as she turns around slid your hand down her arm and hold her hand.
Perfect.

Kind of

Except that plucking fruits from the bar is dodgy, have to go from the side..

and grab? Better would be from the side and with a look, eyecontact, lean in as if you're gonna whisper-this is why loud clubs are good, lots of noise, you have to get close- slide your hand down her arm-from the side! and hold her hand, softly, gently, not tightly at all.

But yeah, like others have said, have had much more success away from the bar then at it, mayhaps because when they're at the bar they're distracted trying to do something.. better to wait until their attention will be entirely yours..
No, no no no no. Mayhaps the reason you aren't having great success at the bar is because you are LEANING IN. Leaning in is BETA. BAD. DON'T do it! Also, look at what I JUST said about not grabbing some random girl's hand, because you haven't built enough comfort for her to feel ok with you doing that. All you're gonna do is put up her shields and screw your set up.

Maybe you're right with the leaning in thing.

..And true I suck at the bar..

Holding hands sometimes does work, but I concede that being close, and not touching them at all is better.

Stroking hair, deployed at the right time and situation works a charm dude!

Actually, one BIG point everyone seems to miss is that the actual BAR itself is NOT a good place to pick girls up, BECAUSE there WILL BE an interruption. Sure, away from the bar their will possibly be interruptions, but at the bar, there will definitely be an interruption, because that's what they are at the bar for, to order alcohol. So, at least wait until they leave the bar, and your chances will go way up.

This is very true. Although, you can do something causing her to get interested in you and then you can re-open later, unless you make her open you and you've got some ground to stand on.
